AMARA Hotel in Limassol, Cyprus, is seeking candidates for the position of Pool Attendant to ensure a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for guests using the pool area. The ideal candidate will be attentive, friendly, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Job Overview
The Pool Attendant will be responsible for monitoring the pool area, ensuring safety standards are met, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the poolside and surrounding areas. The role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to assist guests in a welcoming and professional manner.
Main Responsibilities

Ensure the pool area is clean, well-maintained, and fully stocked with towels, poolside furniture, and amenities.

Monitor guest safety and behavior around the pool to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Assist guests with poolside requests, including seating arrangements, towel distribution, and general inquiries.

Provide guests with information about the pool area, hotel services, and activities.

Maintain the cleanliness of poolside areas by regularly cleaning and organizing lounge chairs, tables, and umbrellas.

Enforce hotel policies and procedures regarding pool safety, including maintaining a safe and hygienic swimming environment.

Assist in maintaining pool equipment and report any maintenance issues to the appropriate department.

Ensure that poolside trash and debris are removed regularly to maintain a pleasant environment.

Provide excellent customer service and attend to any special requests or concerns from guests.

Monitor the water quality and cleanliness of the pool in coordination with the maintenance team.

Assist in the setup and breakdown of poolside events or activities when needed.
Qualifications & Skills

Previous experience in a hospitality or poolside environment is a plus.

Strong customer service skills and ability to engage with guests.

Knowledge of pool safety regulations and health standards.

Ability to work in an outdoor environment and perform physical tasks, including lifting and arranging furniture.

Good communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
