Job Overview
The Porter will be responsible for assisting guests with luggage, delivering items to rooms, and providing general support to the hotel staff. The role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Main Responsibilities

Greet guests upon arrival and departure, offering a warm welcome and providing luggage assistance.

Assist guests with transporting luggage to and from guest rooms, including using luggage carts and elevators.

Deliver guest requests, amenities, and other items to rooms in a timely and professional manner.

Ensure that all guest belongings are handled with care and attention.

Maintain the hotel’s luggage storage areas, ensuring they are organized and secure.

Provide guests with information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.

Assist in coordinating guest transportation, including taxis and airport transfers.

Maintain the cleanliness and organization of public areas, including the lobby and entrance.

Support the concierge team with any special guest requests, as needed.

Report any issues or maintenance needs promptly to the relevant departments.

Assist with general hotel duties such as moving furniture or setting up equipment for events.

Uphold health and safety standards and ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications & Skills

Previous experience in a hotel or customer service role is preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to handle guest requests professionally.

Ability to lift and carry luggage or other items safely and efficiently.

A positive and friendly attitude with a focus on guest satisfaction.
