AMARA Hotel in Limassol, Cyprus, is seeking candidates for the position of Technician to ensure the proper maintenance, functionality, and safety of all hotel facilities and equipment. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to delivering service excellence while upholding the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

Job Overview

The Technician will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of hotel equipment, systems, and infrastructure. The role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced luxury hotel environment.

Main Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance, repair, and inspection of hotel equipment, guest rooms, and public areas.

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests, guest complaints, and emergencies.

• Carry out preventive maintenance tasks according to the hotel's maintenance schedule.

• Ensure all electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems operate safely and efficiently.

• Assist in overseeing external contractors and service providers when needed.

• Work closely with other departments (Housekeeping, Front Office, Food & Beverage) to address maintenance needs effectively.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, repairs, and inspections.

• Uphold health and safety regulations and hotel maintenance policies.

• Ensure tools, equipment, and maintenance areas are properly organized and maintained.

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous experience as a Technician or similar role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.

• Strong knowledge of general maintenance, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.

• Good understanding of health and safety practices.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Good communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.

• Proactive, adaptable, and able to handle multiple tasks.
