Barista

SCOPE OF JOB

The primary role of this position is to prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, along with snacks and desserts, ensuring guest satisfaction by maintaining high company standards and targets.

Reports to: Head Bartender

Main Responsibilities

• Greet and serve customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Prepare customer orders promptly and accurately.
• Have in-depth knowledge of the menu, providing detailed information when needed.
• Understand and apply various coffee preparation methods.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure supplies are always available.
• Keep the work environment safe, clean, and hygienic by following company standards and sanitation regulations.
• Ensure HACCP policies, procedures, and codes of practice are implemented.
• Attend job-specific training to enhance skills.
• Participate in team communication meetings.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

Essential Skills & Knowledge

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Fluency in English and Greek.
• Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills.
• Great interpersonal skills to engage with guests.
• Expert knowledge of coffee preparation standards.
