JOB PURPOSE
The Barman will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages to guests in a professional and friendly manner, ensuring excellent customer service. The role includes maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bar, managing stock levels, and creating a welcoming atmosphere in accordance with hotel policies, procedures, and standards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following established recipes and presentation guidelines.

• To ensure that guests receive prompt, friendly, and professional service at all times.

• To maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

• To handle cash and card payments accurately and efficiently.

• To monitor and manage stock levels, ensuring timely replenishment of bar supplies.

• To engage with guests, recommend drinks, and provide a memorable bar experience.

• To ensure all opening and closing procedures are followed according to hotel standards.

• To assist in organizing bar events and promotions to enhance guest satisfaction.

• To work closely with the restaurant and kitchen teams to ensure smooth service.

• To handle guest complaints professionally, finding suitable solutions when necessary.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

1. Graduate of a hospitality-related secondary school or relevant vocational training.

2. Good knowledge of English is essential; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.

3. At least one year of experience as a bartender or in a similar role.

4. Strong knowledge of cocktails, wines, and spirits.

5. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders efficiently.

7. Pleasant, friendly, and outgoing personality.

8. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality service.

9. Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to bar operations.
