Job Description:

The Waiter is an integral part of the dining experience at Casale Panayiotis. They are responsible for providing exceptional customer service and delivering high-quality food and beverages to our guests. The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for hospitality and be dedicated to ensuring a memorable dining experience for all guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner 
• Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
• Assist guests in making menu choices, including providing recommendations and special requests 
• Serve food and beverages to guests according to established standards
• Monitor and maintain dining area cleanliness and appearance
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints in a polite and timely manner
• Process payments and ensure accurate billing
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and drinks
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Upsell and promote menu items, specials, and promotions
• Assist with setting up tables and decorations for special events and occasions
• Continuously strive to provide exceptional customer service and exceed guest expectations

Requirements: 

• High school diploma or equivalent 
• Proven experience as a waiter or server
• Excellent communication and customer service skills 
• Knowledge of food and beverage menus and specials 
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment 
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic math and cash handling skills
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed
• Fluent in English, knowledge of other languages is an asset
