Job Purpose

The Floor Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction. They will supervise housekeeping staff, inspect guest rooms, and ensure that all hotel policies, procedures, and standards are met efficiently and effectively.

Duties & Responsibilities

✔ Supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff to ensure all areas are maintained to the highest cleanliness standards.
✔ Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure they meet hotel standards.
✔ Train and mentor housekeeping employees to maintain excellent service quality.
✔ Monitor and manage housekeeping inventory, ensuring sufficient stock of cleaning supplies and linens.
✔ Address guest requests and complaints professionally and efficiently.
✔ Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations.
✔ Assist in scheduling and assigning tasks to housekeeping staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
✔ Collaborate with the maintenance department to report and resolve any room defects or issues.

Required Qualifications & Skills

✔ Graduate of a lyceum and a tertiary school of Hotel Management or a related field.
✔ At least one year’s previous experience in a similar supervisory role.
✔ Must speak and write English very well. Knowledge of at least one additional foreign language is preferred.
✔ Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
✔ Pleasant and professional personality, with attention to detail and reliability.
