St. Raphael Resort & Marina is seeking a talented and experienced Asian Cook from Thailand to join our culinary team. We are committed to offering an exceptional dining experience by serving a diverse range of authentic and high-quality Asian cuisine.

Job Overview

The Asian Cook will be responsible for preparing and presenting a variety of traditional and modern Asian dishes, with a focus on Thai cuisine, but also including other regional specialties such as Chinese, Japanese, and Southeast Asian-inspired meals. He/she will ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality, while maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Asian flavors and strong attention to detail in both preparation and plating.

Main Responsibilities & Duties

• Prepare and cook a wide selection of Asian dishes, with a focus on Thai cuisine (curries, stir-fries, soups, grilled dishes), and additional dishes from across Asia.

• Ensure high-quality food preparation, presentation, and consistency in taste.

• Maintain excellent hygiene and food safety standards at all times.

• Monitor stock levels and ensure proper storage, especially of fresh produce, herbs, spices, and seafood.

• Contribute creative ideas and assist in the development of new Asian dishes for the menu.

• Work efficiently in a high-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.

• Cooperate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

• Follow all kitchen policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cook specializing in Asian cuisine (Thai experience is essential).

• Solid knowledge of Asian cooking techniques, traditional ingredients, and preparation methods.

• Experience in handling fresh herbs, spices, and seafood.

• Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.

• Fluency English language (additional languages are a plus).

• Only candidates of Thai nationality will be considered for this role.
