St. Raphael Resort & Marina is seeking an experienced and creative Head Chef specializing in Thai cuisine to lead our Asian kitchen team. We are committed to offering guests an exceptional dining experience through authentic, high-quality Thai dishes, made with passion and precision.
Job Overview
The Head Chef (Thai Cuisine) will oversee all aspects of the Thai kitchen, including menu planning, team supervision, and food preparation. He/she will ensure excellence in taste, presentation, and consistency while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and kitchen safety. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of Thai culinary traditions, and the ability to innovate within the cuisine.
Main Responsibilities & Duties

Lead the preparation and presentation of authentic Thai dishes, including curries, stir-fries, soups, grilled items, and salads.

Supervise and train the Thai kitchen team to ensure quality, consistency, and efficiency.

Develop new dishes and contribute to the creative evolution of the Thai menu.

Oversee stock management, ingredient ordering, and proper storage.

Ensure full compliance with hygiene, food safety, and health regulations.

Collaborate with the Executive Chef and other kitchen heads for smooth overall kitchen operations.

Maintain a clean, organized, and high-performing kitchen environment.

Manage kitchen costs and ensure waste is minimized.
Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Head Chef or Senior Cook in Thai cuisine, preferably in a hotel or high-end restaurant.

Extensive knowledge of traditional and modern Thai cooking methods, ingredients, and presentation.

Proven experience in leading kitchen staff and managing a culinary team.

Strong understanding of food safety standards and kitchen operations.

Fluency in English language (additional languages are a plus).
