Thai Cook – St. Raphael Resort & Marina
St. Raphael Resort & Marina is seeking a talented and experienced Thai Cook to join our culinary team. We are dedicated to providing an exceptional dining experience by delivering authentic and high-quality Thai cuisine.


Job Overview

The Thai Cook will be responsible for preparing and presenting a variety of traditional and modern Thai dishes, including curries, stir-fries, soups, grilled items, and salads. He/she will ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality while maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for Thai cuisine and attention to detail in both preparation and plating.


Main Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare and cook a variety of Thai dishes, including curries, pad thai, tom yum, som tum, grilled meats, and more.

  • Ensure high-quality food preparation, presentation, and taste consistency.

  • Maintain excellent hygiene and food safety standards in the kitchen.

  • Monitor stock levels and ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients, particularly fresh herbs, spices, and produce.

  • Assist in menu development and contribute creative ideas for new Thai dishes.

  • Work efficiently in a high-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.

  • Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

  • Follow all kitchen policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Thai Cook in a restaurant, hotel, or Thai kitchen.

  • Strong knowledge of Thai cuisine, including traditional cooking methods, ingredient handling, and presentation.

  • Experience in preparing dishes using fresh herbs, spices, and authentic Thai ingredients.

  • Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and proper kitchen practices.

  • Fluency in English language (additional languages are a plus).

  • Only candidates of Thai nationality will be considered for this role.
