Job Purpose

The Hostess will be the first point of contact for guests entering the hotel’s restaurant or dining areas. They will greet, seat, and attend to guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere while maintaining a smooth and organized flow of guest seating and service.

Duties & Responsibilities

✔ Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their table.
✔ Manage reservations and ensure guests are seated promptly and comfortably.
✔ Maintain an organized waiting list during busy periods, ensuring a smooth guest flow.
✔ Answer phone calls and provide guests with information regarding menus, reservations, or events.
✔ Assist in setting up and preparing the dining area before service and ensure the area is clean and welcoming.
✔ Maintain communication with the restaurant team to ensure guests are seated according to their preferences.
✔ Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests with professionalism and a positive attitude.
✔ Ensure that all guests have a pleasant experience from arrival to departure.
✔ Collaborate with the restaurant team to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service.

Required Qualifications & Skills

✔ Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not essential.
✔ Must speak and write English well.
✔ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

✔ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
