Job Purpose

The Lifeguard will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all guests using the hotel’s swimming pool or beach area. They will actively monitor guests, respond to emergencies, and enforce safety rules to prevent accidents, while also providing excellent customer service.

Duties & Responsibilities

✔ Supervise and monitor the pool or beach area to ensure the safety of all guests.
✔ Respond to emergencies quickly and efficiently, providing first aid and CPR when needed.
✔ Enforce all safety rules and regulations for pool or beach areas.
✔ Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the poolside and surrounding areas.
✔ Report any safety hazards, accidents, or incidents to management immediately.
✔ Maintain accurate records of incidents and daily safety checks.
✔ Assist guests with information and guidelines related to the pool or beach area.
✔ Provide a friendly, courteous, and professional service at all times.
✔ Participate in regular training to maintain certifications and improve skills.

Required Qualifications & Skills

✔ Valid Lifeguard certification (CPR and First Aid).
✔ At least one year’s previous experience in a similar role.
✔ Strong swimming skills and physical fitness.
✔ Must speak and write English well.
✔ Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle stressful situations.
✔ Pleasant and friendly personality, with strong attention to safety and detail.
