A 5* Hotel in Limassol is Currently Looking for a Pastry Chef

About the Role

As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for designing, preparing, and presenting high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods that reflect the elegance and standards of our luxury hotel. You will also manage the pastry team and ensure efficient operations in the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute a wide variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods, including custom recipes for special events.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop innovative dessert menus that align with the hotel’s standards.
  • Oversee daily operations in the pastry kitchen, including ingredient inventory, preparation, and hygiene standards.
  • Train, supervise, and motivate the pastry team to maintain exceptional quality and presentation.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Monitor food costs and manage portion controls to minimize waste and optimize profitability.
  • Accommodate guest requests for customized desserts and provide excellent service for special occasions.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant.
  • Culinary degree or specialized training in pastry and baking is preferred.
  • Exceptional creativity, attention to detail, and mastery of pastry techniques.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of Greek or other languages is an advantage.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passionate, innovative, and dedicated to delivering outstanding culinary experiences.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
