POSITION OF POOL ATTENDANT

JOB PURPOSE
The Pool Attendant will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and overall guest experience at the hotel's pool area. The role includes assisting guests with their needs, maintaining poolside cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations in accordance with hotel policies, procedures, and standards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To ensure the pool area is clean, organized, and fully stocked with towels and amenities.

• To monitor poolside activities, ensuring guest safety and assisting as needed.

• To provide excellent customer service by assisting guests with seating arrangements, umbrellas, and poolside orders.

• To enforce hotel and pool safety regulations, ensuring guests adhere to guidelines.

• To report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate department.

• To assist with the setup and removal of pool furniture and equipment as required.

• To handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring a positive experience.

• To ensure proper storage and cleanliness of pool towels and other supplies.

• To assist with emergency procedures when necessary.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

1. Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage.

2. Good knowledge of English is essential; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.

3. Strong customer service and communication skills.

4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

5. Good physical condition, as the role requires standing and lifting.

6. Pleasant and professional demeanor with a friendly attitude.

7. Basic knowledge of first aid and CPR is an advantage.

8. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
