POSITION OF RECEPTIONIST:

Stademos Hotels Ltd, a leading Group within the Cyprus Hospitality industry, is seeking to recruit a Receptionist for the 5* Elysium Hotel in Paphos.

JOB PURPOSE: 
The Receptionist will be responsible for providing a warm welcome and high-quality service to all guests, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. The role involves handling reservations, assisting guests with inquiries, and ensuring that all front office operations run efficiently in accordance with hotel policies, procedures, and standards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To greet guests warmly upon arrival and ensure an efficient check-in and check-out process.

  • To provide excellent customer service by addressing guests' needs, inquiries, and requests in a professional and courteous manner.

  • To handle reservations and room assignments efficiently, ensuring accuracy in guest details.

  • To manage phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries, providing accurate information about the hotel’s facilities, services, and local attractions.

  • To coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless service for guests.

  • To handle guest complaints professionally, providing appropriate solutions and escalating when necessary.

  • To process payments, issue invoices, and maintain accurate financial records for front desk transactions.

  • To ensure that all front office duties, opening and closing procedures, and daily tasks are completed efficiently and in line with the hotel's standards.

  • To maintain a professional appearance and uphold the hotel's high service standards at all times.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  1. Graduate of a hospitality-related secondary school or relevant vocational training.

  2. Excellent command of English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.

  3. At least one year of experience in a similar role.

  4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  5. Customer-focused mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.

  6. Professional appearance and a friendly, welcoming personality.

  7. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  8. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  9. Proficiency in using hotel management software and office applications.
