Requirements
- Certified Sommelier (Court of Master Sommeliers, WSET, or equivalent) preferred.
- Proven experience as a Sommelier in an upscale restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Extensive knowledge of global wine regions, grape varietals, and vintages.
- Exceptional communication skills with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging and informative wine tastings for guests and staff members.
- Develop and update a dynamic wine list that reflects current offerings and industry trends.
- Assist patrons in selecting wines that complement their dining preferences and budgetary considerations.
- Collaborate closely with our culinary team to create exceptional wine pairings for seasonal menus and special events.
- Manage wine inventory meticulously, ensuring proper storage conditions and rotation practices.
- Provide ongoing training and mentorship to our staff on wine knowledge and service standards.
