Pastry Cook – St. Raphael Resort & Marina

St. Raphael Resort & Marina is looking for a passionate and skilled Pastry Cook to join our team and grow with us.

Job Overview

The Pastry Cook will be responsible for preparing high-quality desserts, pastries, and baked goods while ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and quality. He/she will contribute to the smooth operation of the pastry section while maintaining high hygiene and safety standards. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with the kitchen team to enhance the overall dining experience for our guests.

Main Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare a variety of pastries, desserts, cakes, and bread according to recipes and specifications.

  • Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of all pastry items.

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety in the pastry section.

  • Follow all kitchen policies, procedures, and food safety regulations.

  • Monitor stock levels and ensure proper storage of ingredients and supplies.

  • Assist in menu planning and the creation of new pastry items.

  • Work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

  • Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within a hotel, restaurant, or bakery.

  • Proven experience in pastry preparation, baking, and dessert plating.

  • Knowledge of baking techniques, pastry production, and food safety standards.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.

  • Strong attention to detail and creativity in dessert presentation.

  • Fluency in Greek or English (additional languages are a plus).

  • EU passport holder (essential).
