POSITION OF TECHNICIAN: 
Stademos Hotels Ltd, a leading Group within the Cyprus Hospitality industry, is seeking to recruit a Technician for the 5* Elysium Hotel in Paphos.

JOB PURPOSE:
The Technician will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning, maintenance, and repair of all hotel facilities and equipment. The Technician will work proactively to prevent issues and ensure that all technical aspects of the hotel operate smoothly, in accordance with the Hotel’s policies, procedures, and standards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To understand and address the maintenance needs of both external (Hotel guests) and internal (all Hotel employees) customers, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.

  • To conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of hotel facilities, including electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, and general building maintenance.

  • To promptly respond to maintenance requests from guests and staff, ensuring high-quality service.

  • To ensure that all work is carried out efficiently, professionally, and in compliance with health and safety regulations.

  • To identify and resolve technical issues effectively, minimizing disruptions to hotel operations.

  • To ensure that all maintenance actions, duties, and opening and closing procedures are completed in accordance with pre-set guidelines.

  • To provide friendly, courteous, and professional service at all times.

  • To actively participate in training programs and continuous development initiatives.

  • To maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections.

  • To collaborate with other hotel departments to support smooth operations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  1. Graduate of a technical school or relevant vocational training.

  2. Good knowledge of English is essential; other languages are considered an additional advantage.

  3. At least one year of experience in a similar role.

  4. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  5. Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure.

  6. Pleasant and friendly personality with a team-oriented mindset.

  7. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
